The Digibase Blacklist Service (also referred to through names like spambot.bls.digibase.ca or BLS Proxy/Spambot) is a DNS-based Real-time Blackhole List (DNSBL) managed by Digibase—a non-profit research & development organization that offers secure, public-serving services funded solely by donations.
It maintains listings of IP addresses and domains associated with spam-related activity—particularly spambots or open proxies used for bulk mail or unsolicited content.
To resolve listings, administrators must submit a delist request via email to Digibase’s designated bl-delist contact, including the offending IP or CIDR and supporting evidence or logs; responses typically arrive within 24–48 hours.Removal isn't automated—you must publicly demonstrate cleanup of the issue(s) that led to listing.
